You rerun someone else's study to see whether the result holds. Genuinely valuable, deeply underrated, and an unusually good fit for a first project because the method is already written for you.

Shape: the original study → what you changed and why → your results → comparison → what the difference means.

Tip: email the original authors. They often send materials, and they're usually pleased someone asked.
